If your physician requests that you have an x-ray examination, your procedure will be performed in our new digital x-ray room. Digital x-ray is an advanced technology that enables the technologist to perform your x-rays much faster than you would experience in a standard x-ray room. We offer x-rays of the following areas, the skull, spine, chest, abdomen and all bones in the body. Our digital x-ray machine is not only fast, it is also versatile allowing the technologist to position you with ease and comfort. Another advantage of digital x-ray is that the technologist can actually view your images 5 seconds after they are done. This eliminates the long waiting times patients experience while x-rays are developed and then reviewed in standard x-ray facilities.

Scheduling

Scheduling your x-ray procedure is simple and fast. You can also arrange to have all your imaging needs such as MRI, CT and Ultrasound performed on the same day as your x-rays. Walk in appointments are also available between the hours of 8:30 am and 5pm Monday through Friday. There is no preparation required for x-ray procedures performed at MRI & CT Diagnostics.

The day of your appointment

We request that you arrive 30 minutes before your procedure. This will allow time for you to complete and review any forms and prepare you for your procedure. Once you are ready for your x-rays, you will be escorted to a secure dressing room where you may be asked to change into a gown. You will then be escorted into the x-ray procedure room. The x-ray technologist will review your medical history and your prescription to insure we are performing the procedure your physician ordered. You will have the opportunity to ask questions at any time during your procedure. The technologist will then position you for your x-rays, give you breathing instructions if necessary and complete your procedure. Once your procedure is complete you will be escorted back to the dressing room and then be released. We will be sure to send the results of your x-rays to your doctor.
